UTC SVO Veterans Day 5k

The UTC SVO Veterans Day 5K was established to help fund the Sergeant David Alex Stephens Memorial Scholarship Fund.  Sergeant Stephens was an alumni of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.  In 2007, while deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Sgt. Stephens was killed in action.  This scholarship fund is intended to ease the financial burden of student veterans while attending college.
